The Creator, with a knowing eye,

placed a garden twixt the earth and sky.

All about was alive, rich, vibrant, and lush,

with an abundance of fruit, ripe and plush.

Man and woman were created to care,

and nourish and love all that was there.

It is meant to be a great legacy that we pass on,

like the glorious sun rising with each new dawn.

We must learn from our ancestors who nurtured this place,

and leave it nourished and well, for the future of the human race.

Renewal

 

At times worries overwhelm my mind

and positive thoughts are hard to find.

Part of me could quite happily run away,

but my common sense says clearly, STAY!

As the sun burns through the early morning mist,

it is with determination and courage that I insist,

the positive love of life that had been me,

is mine again, reborn, as you will clearly see!

I have downed the burden of worry and guilt,
