Perfection

Perfection

Perfection

is not an end result.

Perfection

is in the journey.

Perfection

is in the trials and tribulations.

Perfection

is in overcoming our shortcomings.

Perfection

is in our sense of achievement.

Perfection

is freeing our ability to love.

I have two self-help stories available exclusively on

Amazon, either on the Kindle or paperback, and I do

hope that you find them interesting, thought-

provoking, and, most of all, enjoyable: -

The Rock Philosophy

This simply written short story is aimed at those who

seek to understand themselves, and through

 understanding themselves comes a greater

 understanding of life.

The Life of Jesus

(as witnessed by his brother)

Much has been written about Jesus, and no matter your

view on religion or Christianity, this person, whether he

was as described in the bible or not, has singularly

shaped, to a greater or lesser extent, the lives we lead

today through his wisdom. There are many versions of

the story, but there is only one truth, and is it not

 better to know the truth?

You are most welcome to visit my self-help youtube

Laughter's Warmth

Laughter’s Warmth

A smile means warmth

A giggle, fun,

Laughter, freedom,

A belly laugh, release.

However, the most important laughter of all

Is that which is aimed at one’s self,

pricking the balloon of ego and pomposity.

Opening Up To Emotions

 Opening Up To Emotions

Sometimes I am on the receiving end,

when others their emotions send.

Some are wonderful, others not,

and I find understanding them quite fraught.

I keep mine in a safe place, and there they stay,

yet I am now beginning to wonder about a better way.

For me to grow inside, I must address my feelings,

and do the same for others with whom I have dealings.

Honesty about my emotions helps others to know the inner me,

then our feelings are shared, warmly, open and free.

Abundance

Abundance

Of Silver and Gold, we have little or none,

however, life can still be rich and fun.

If you look honestly and sincerely, you will find,

true abundance is of the heart and mind.

Nervous Or Self Conscious Talker

Nervous or Self-Conscious Talker

My mouth goes very dry,

and I think I’m going to die.

There are things I really want to say,

but they’ll not come out the right way.

News Flash! my opinion is as important as any other,

so why do I, my vocals effectively smother!

Time for change, I have something positive to say,

and today is the day, come what may!

Becoming Me

Becoming Me

With myriad energies all seeking their place,

I struggle to find ME, and my best true face.

Am I the quiet, speechless, powerless drone,

or am I lost in the arrogant loudmouthed zone?

When I find peace within, then I can be the true me,

quiet yet strong, knowing my truth will set me free!

Just Feeling Good

Just Feeling Good

I love to wake up feeling good,

no one can upset me, even the rude.

I smile and really enjoy my day,

relishing each moment, come what may.

I control who I am, who I choose to be,

happy, peaceful and self-confident, that’s me.

Joy and Happiness

To start and finish each day with a smile is just bliss,

it’s a wonderful feeling you’d never want to miss.

Basking in inner sunshine is a life changing event,
