Overcoming Addiction To Porn

Overcoming Addiction to Porn

With porn I watch and dream,

but truly it is not what it seems.

It keeps me from the life I choose,

NOW I desire change, and I will not lose!

I have two self-help stories available exclusively on

Amazon, either on the Kindle or paperback, and I do

hope that you find them interesting, thought-

provoking, and, most of all, enjoyable: -

The Rock Philosophy

This simply written short story is aimed at those who

seek to understand themselves, and through

 understanding themselves comes a greater

 understanding of life.

The Life of Jesus

(as witnessed by his brother)

Much has been written about Jesus, and no matter your

view on religion or Christianity, this person, whether he

was as described in the bible or not, has singularly

shaped, to a greater or lesser extent, the lives we lead

today through his wisdom. There are many versions of

the story, but there is only one truth, and is it not

 better to know the truth?

To Be Non-Judgemental

To Be Non-Judgemental

Nobody ever seems to get it right,

but thankfully I have great oversight.

It doesn’t endear me to those I help,

for they often groan and give a yelp!

If only they could see what I see,

that perfection is always lacking to me.

Though to be content is what I truly desire,

not to be consumed by self-righteous fire.

John

This subliminal meditation is here.

Teeth too big, colour and style of the hair not nice, too fat, too thin, just ugly and so on. It is so easy to criticise others, yet woe betides anyone who chooses to criticise us. Fairness, having an open mind, plain human decency and respect for others cease to exist when we find we can criticise and belittle others with impunity and often without their knowledge. We render other people's opinions valueless because our GODLIKE wisdom and knowledge place us on a make-believe pedestal which is supported by our small-mindedness and ego, belittling all whom we choose to cast down. If any of this resonates with you, then perhaps this subliminal meditation is for you.

Imposter Syndrome

Imposter Syndrome

What if I am found out, is my fear,

and I just know I shouldn’t even be here.

I constantly look at how well others do,

just beyond my reach, I secretly knew!

I know though I am really as good as the rest,

because it’s all in the mind, passing the test!

I Can Do Better

I Can Do Better

Can I do better than I have of late,

or shall I wait hopefully until a better date?

Am I burying my head in the sand,

and of life making no demand?

Am I content just to do my time,

until, at last, I reach the end of the line?

Or is it time to come out fighting,

and fix the wrongs that need righting?

I have one life of which I will now make the most,

“I AM the best version of me!” now my humble boast.

Histrionic Personality Disorder

Histrionic Personality Disorder

Why do I feel the need,

to make others take heed?

It can be in what I say or do,

or in looking different and new!

Oh, to feel luxurious peace and be content,

leaving well behind this continuous torment.

Perhaps a great meditation will lead the way,

and my joyous life will then be here to stay!

Male Health

I know that I can and really should,

feel healthy and remarkably good.

But life and stress can take their toll,

and sometimes things just eat my soul.

My problems and pain I now choose to release,

as I feel wonderful healing and inner peace.

Renewal

Renewal

At times worries overwhelm my mind

and positive thoughts are hard to find.

Part of me could quite happily run away,

but my common sense says clearly, STAY!

As the sun burns through the early morning mist,

it is with determination and courage that I insist,

the positive love of life that had been me,

is mine again, reborn, as you will clearly see!

I have downed the burden of worry and guilt,

and it is through renewed positivity I am rebuilt.

Emotional Triggers

Emotional Triggers

It happens suddenly, right out of the blue,

and the effects of it I will truly rue.

This red-hot rage can explode and get a grip,

and then angry words from my mouth just slip.

It is time to clear the emotional triggers from my mind,

and then inner and outer peace I will surely find.
