I know that I can and really should,

feel healthy and remarkably good.

But life and stress can take their toll,

and sometimes things just eat my soul.

My problems and pain I now choose to release,

But being a woman can take its emotional toll,

and oft accepting female pain with no drum roll.

I am now a vibrant, energised being,

this is a joy and ultimately freeing.

I now relax and sleep in the best possible way,

Overcoming Procrastination

Procrastination

Why do today what I can do tomorrow

or is this the path which leads to sorrow?

When will I realize that putting things off until ‘later’,

and learn at last that procrastination is a traitor.

Positive change will happen ONLY when I make it,

my path forward then finally and truly lit!

People Pleasing

People Pleasing

My inability to say NO rules my life,

and effectively, my free will smothers!

Consequently, my life is not my own,

because I surrender it to others.

I feel it within me, though, the will to change,

and my new perspective I happily arrange!

I no longer feel small, lesser or fake,

my decisions are MINE which I happily take!
