Social Anxiety Disorder by John/Calming/Relieving Anxiety/Peace/Hope/Self-Awareness

Social Anxiety Disorder

My heart wants to burst from my chest,

unless my unwelcome anxiety I can arrest.

My mouth has gone dry as desert sand,

and where is the inner peace that I demand?

People and situations cause me such stress,

and then it feels as if my life is one big mess!

Yet if I slow my breathing and my mind,

the shadows disappear and peace I’ll find!

I have two self-help stories available exclusively on

Amazon, either on the Kindle or paperback, and I do

hope that you find them interesting, thought-

provoking, and, most of all, enjoyable: -

The Rock Philosophy

This simply written short story is aimed at those who

seek to understand themselves, and through

 understanding themselves comes a greater

 understanding of life.

The Life of Jesus

(as witnessed by his brother)

Much has been written about Jesus, and no matter your

view on religion or Christianity, this person, whether he

was as described in the bible or not, has singularly

shaped, to a greater or lesser extent, the lives we lead

today through his wisdom. There are many versions of

the story, but there is only one truth, and is it not

 better to know the truth?

Rejection by John/To Be Shunned/To Be Ignored/To Feel Belittled/To Be Emotionally Hurt/Isolated

Rejection

My soul aches from unkind words and deeds

and negative structures grow from those seeds.

Why do others not see the good in me,

making me feel like the sailor, lost at sea!

Yet, does it matter what they think, say or do?

I have good heart, mind and soul and that’s the clue!

Intuitive Self Awareness by John/Uncertainty/Doubt/Perception/Understanding/Self-Confidence

Intuitive Self Awareness

My path is unclear, where do I go?

There are shadows around me, OH NO!

Yet if I still my mind and feel MY light,

my path becomes clear without a fight.

Histrionic Personality Disorder by John/HPD/Inner Confidence/Calm/Calming/Peaceful

Histrionic Personality Disorder

Why do I feel the need,

to make others take heed?

It can be in what I say or do,

or in looking different and new!

Oh, to feel luxurious peace and be content,

leaving well behind this continuous torment.

Perhaps a great meditation will lead the way,

and my joyous life will then be here to stay!

Pathological Lying

Pathological Lying

The truth is a mystery to me,

however, you can never see,

that I lie without thinking,

with straight eyes, never blinking.

If only I could change, be honest and sincere,

then perhaps true friends could draw near!
