Incontinence

 

I sometimes get a totally mind consuming urge,

from an unwelcome, unwanted ‘toilet’ surge.

Why can my bladder/bowels not behave,

so that I can discreetly retire, and good face save?

Oh, for the time when I can simply be happy and relax,

and no fear of unwanted peeing or pooing are the facts.

Is my life controlled by fear,

because there is no ‘loo’ near?

Or is it although I have just peed,

yet I still have the feeling of need.

A full night’s sleep is a thing of the past,

and I now pray for respite which will last!
