What Do You See?

As mentioned previously I like to play with colours and let them tell their own story on canvas or paper, and I have been doing this for years.  Sometimes, also I'll have an idea of what I want to express then I leave it to the colours to give me their message and often it can be spookily impressive.  I have seen faces, animals, birds etc.. I haven't signed my images on the front because sometimes rotating them gives a completely different view.

My younger sister has inspired me to share some of those images with you and what I am thinking is this, each day I'll show a different image, you may see something, you may even see more than one thing, and under the law of synchronicity you may find something in the image that is relevant to you. The important thing is to relax and absorb the image and then it will show itself in it's fullness to you. Also having a healthy dose of imagination helps.

In any event, please feel free to comment and share if you so desire (PLEASE), there are no right or wrong answers and I hope they bring you as much visual fun as they did me.

Tomorrow I'll share the name I gave today’s piece.

Any of my art shown is available as a digital print for £15.00 ($21.00). Simply leave a comment with your email address and I will contact you.

I have two self-help stories available exclusively on

Amazon, either on the Kindle or paperback,

and I do hope that you find them interesting, thought-

provoking, and, most of all, enjoyable: -

The Rock Philosophy

This simply written short story is aimed at those

Who seek to understand themselves, and through

understanding themselves comes a greater

understanding of life.

The Life of Jesus

(as witnessed by his brother)

Much has been written about Jesus, and no matter your view on religion or Christianity,

this person, whether he was as described in the bible or not, has singularly

shaped, to a greater or lesser extent, the lives we lead

today through his wisdom. There are many versions of

the story, but there is only one truth, and is it not

better to know the truth?

Who Am I by John/Hidden Treasure/Self-Confidence/Self-Awareness/Self-Determination

Who Am I

Sometimes I feel lost and alone,

and my heart sinking, like a stone.

Who am I really and what can I do?

Is it possible for my life to renew?

Within me I know is hidden treasure,

that can create joy without measure.

Today is the day I work on its release,

and then my success will bring inner peace.

A Baby's Life by John/Pregnancy/New Parents/Parenthood/Birth/New Life/New Beginnings/Family

A Baby’s Life

It is so warm and cosy in here,

and I know only love and never fear!

I don’t know hunger, thirst or pain,

and everything is always just the same!

Holy Sxxt, HELP, what is going on,

I feel a push and pull, I am being drawn

into what or where I do not know,

so much for my fleeting inner glow.

What a surprise, I have eyes to see

and I realize now there is them and me.

Heavens above, I have a voice too,

tears and screams, WOW, this is what I do!

I see a cord and feel better, doubting no more

I am still connected to the good I felt before.

WAIT, they are cutting it, I am alone it’s true

more tears and screams, YES, this is what I do!

I realize a feeling I have never felt before,

It is not pain and I am not sore.

I feel a sensation, do I need the loo?

louder tears and screams, YES, this is what I do!

Now I feel empty and depleted for sure,

I have no idea if there is even a cure.

Wait, what is that thing risen before my eyes,

who knew I’d like suckling amidst delighted sighs!

I have a MOTHER, she whispers in my ear

that she loves me completely, to have no fear!

Wait! Who is this monster, reaching slowly for me?

It turns out it’s my father that I see.

When I am hungry, tired or filled my nappy*

I know how to make myself ever so happy.

It is something I have learned to alert my crew,

YES! Tears and screams are what I do!

Yet I know that when I laugh and gurgle too,

that it brings smiles to those who love me true.

They love to watch as I do my thing

and when I tire, for me, they love to sing.

Wealth by John/Abundance/Understanding/Giving and Receiving/Self-Awareness

Wealth

My spirit is happy, warm, content and complete,

which I am sure you know is no mean feat!.

I have learned that physical wealth may come and go,

and also that nothing can dimmish my inner glow.

True wealth is what I carry within my soul,

to use it for gain is not my goal.

It grows in value only when I responsibly share,

and it can only work if I truly care!

Healing The Vagus Nerve

My nerve network is under stress,

and my health feels an untidy mess.

It is time without doubt to heal,
