The object of my bleeding heart’s desire,

consumes me like a burning fire.

They say NO when I desperately ask them to stay,

adding to my frustration and constant dismay.

I have said goodbye to my common sense,

now living a near life where I am always tense.

I remember when I used to sleep well at night,

now I lie awake as my mind and conscience fight.

There is no happy ending to this living hell,

unless I bravely act, and this love myth fell!

I have sacrificed much to gain nothing but pain,
