Angelic Fanfare

Angelic Fanfare

Angelic trumpets are abounding,

as their clarion call is a sounding!

People of good heart are called together,

radiating loving sunshine despite the weather.

It is time to act and decry tyranny’s aim,

so, to a better world, we may lay claim.

I have two self-help stories available exclusively on

Amazon, either on the Kindle or paperback, and I do

hope that you find them interesting, thought-

provoking, and, most of all, enjoyable: -

The Rock Philosophy

This simply written short story is aimed at those who

seek to understand themselves, and through

 understanding themselves comes a greater

 understanding of life.

The Life of Jesus

(as witnessed by his brother)

Much has been written about Jesus, and no matter your

view on religion or Christianity, this person, whether he

was as described in the bible or not, has singularly

shaped, to a greater or lesser extent, the lives we lead

today through his wisdom. There are many versions of

the story, but there is only one truth, and is it not

 better to know the truth?

Angelic Presence

Angelic Presence

No matter where I am,

and no matter how bad I feel.

I breathe gently, deeply and ask,

and you are there, quite real!

Angelic Protection

When I feel uncertain, lost and all alone,

and I call for help on my imaginary phone.

Then I feel enveloped in loving angel wings,

sensing heavenly music, my uplifted soul sings.

Beyond The Stars

Beyond The Stars

I dare to dream beyond the stars,

where greed and power leave no scars.

Beautiful life, which is there for all,

whether they fly, walk, swim or crawl.

Black Panther Magic

Black Panther Magic

Your courage and integrity are your strength,

and your true potential is just quite immense.

For you, I come from the shadows to protect,

and unseen dangers I easily detect.

As your power totem, I am always near,

and my mighty roar, your enemies will fear.

Trust in your love, truth and intuition,

and then all that is good will come to fruition.

Bravery

Bravery is

not a lack of fear but the acceptance of it and the overcoming of it.

looking adversity in the face and still being able to smile.

setting aside ego for the greater good.

climbing out of bed to face the day, come what may.

shining the light of truth on our inner demons.

accepting when we are at fault and, where appropriate, owning up to it.

stepping up to help those who cannot do so for themselves.

recognising that no matter our external circumstances, our spirit cannot be broken.

getting on with life despite the pain.

looking at death as the doorway to the next part of our journey.

To start and finish each day with a smile is just bliss,

it’s a wonderful feeling you’d never want to miss.

Basking in inner sunshine is a life changing event,

Great Spirit

GREAT SPIRIT

the rhythm of the universe,

GREAT SPIRIT of SERENITY,

may I recognise with absolute trust,

your presence in every aspect

Incontinence

Incontinence

I sometimes get a totally mind consuming urge,

from an unwelcome, unwanted ‘toilet’ surge.

Why can my bladder/bowels not behave,

so that I can discreetly retire, and good face save?

Oh, for the time when I can simply be happy and relax,

and no fear of unwanted peeing or pooing are the facts.

I Can Do Better

I Can Do Better

Can I do better than I have of late,

or shall I wait hopefully until a better date?

Am I burying my head in the sand,

and of life making no demand?

Am I content just to do my time,

until, at last, I reach the end of the line?

Or is it time to come out fighting,

and fix the wrongs that need righting?

I have one life of which I will now make the most,

“I AM the best version of me!” now my humble boast.
