 Attitude

Negative energy is

dispelled by positive light,

when we earnestly desire it.

I have two self-help stories available exclusively on

Amazon, either on the Kindle or paperback, and I do

hope that you find them interesting, thought-

provoking, and, most of all, enjoyable: -

The Rock Philosophy

This simply written short story is aimed at those who

seek to understand themselves, and through

 understanding themselves comes a greater

 understanding of life.

The Life of Jesus

(as witnessed by his brother)

Much has been written about Jesus, and no matter your

view on religion or Christianity, this person, whether he

was as described in the bible or not, has singularly

shaped, to a greater or lesser extent, the lives we lead

today through his wisdom. There are many versions of

the story, but there is only one truth, and is it not

 better to know the truth?

The Tides of Life by John/Recognising Inner Power/Knowing/Strength of Purpose/Self Empowerment

 The Tides of Life

In seeing problems as challenges,

and recognizing good and bad

as the “tides of life”,

one can look forward

with joyous anticipation

to navigating a positive, happy future.

Opening Up To Emotions by John/Confident With Feelings/Sharing/Self-Awareness

Opening Up To Emotions

Sometimes I am on the receiving end,

when others their emotions send.

Some are wonderful, others not,

and I find understanding them quite fraught.

I keep mine in a safe place, and there they stay,

yet I am now beginning to wonder about a better way.

For me to grow inside, I must address my feelings,

and do the same for others with whom I have dealings.

Honesty about my emotions helps others to know the inner me,

then our feelings are shared, warmly, open and free.

The Unsung Hero by John/Friendship/Courage/Unconditional Love/Quiet Determination/Bravery/Happiness

The Unsung Hero

In a world which seems totally mad,

and where good seems overruled by bad!

It takes a certain type to stand straight and tall,

one who’ll help you if you should fail or fall.

Knowing pain on their path yet with love in their heart,

they reaffirm one’s faith and hope in a fresh start.

With kindness and compassion, they go the extra mile,

whilst radiating a golden glow and a special sparkling smile!
