Now it is worth remembering that the image on the card can be as important as the words shown, very often there are hidden depths in the image that will show themselves to you in meaningful ways if you are receptive to them. All life is in a continual state of transition, regardless of who or what we are.

If you would like insight into your current state of transition, and the direction it may be heading,

you’re invited to participate in a reflective exercise.

Relax your mind and allow your question to surface naturally, or simply let the cards give you food for thought.

Today I thought I'd do something different and draw one of my transition cards for you. 

Now it is worth bearing in mind that the image on the card can be as important as the words shown, very often there are hidden depths in the image that will show themselves to you in meaningful ways if you are receptive to them.  The words shown on the card are intended as food for thought because the card in its entirety may have a deeper meaning, apparent and relevant only to you.

What Do You See?

 

As mentioned previously I like to play with colours and let them tell their own story on canvas or paper, and I have been doing this for years.  Sometimes, also I'll have an idea of what I want to express then I leave it to the colours to give me their message and often it can be spookily impressive.  I have seen faces, animals, birds etc.. I haven't signed my images on the front because sometimes rotating them gives a completely different view.

My younger sister has inspired me to share some of those images with you and what I am thinking is this, each day I'll show a different image, you may see something, you may even see more than one thing, and under the law of synchronicity you may find something in the image that is relevant to you. The important thing is to relax and absorb the image and then it will show itself in it's fullness to you. Also having a healthy dose of imagination helps. 

 In any event, please feel free to comment and share if you so desire (PLEASE), there are no right or wrong answers and I hope they bring you as much visual fun as they did me.

A Toddler's View

A Toddler’s View

 

Would you believe it, I can stand on my feet?

and I have got this walking thing really quite neat.

Oh, deary me, I am back on the floor and not so tall

as I resort to knees and elbows when I crawl.

 

My Mummy tells me now that filling my nappy* is naughty

and that I need to learn to use the horrible potty.

It is plastic and hard and when I use it there is a smell

the big people certainly don’t use it as far as I can tell!

 

My Daddy likes to lift me and throw me in the air,

Its great fun yet it gives Mummy a real big scare.

I love to play with my toys which I sometimes throw,

and Mummy gets real angry if I try to chew them you know!

 

I get to lie in nice warm water called a bath,

then I get dried and tickled which makes me laugh.

something called teeth make my gums tingle and sore

then Mummy rubs them with something nice and I want more.

 

I now sleep in a cot more often than nought,

unless my ‘unsettled’ tears my Mummy bought!

Then to lie on her chest and sleep is a real delight,

even Daddy rolls over and does not fight.

Mummy and Daddy often take me for a ‘walk’,

and I sit in my buggy whilst passing adults talk.

Sometimes we travel out in the bus or car

and I am always strapped in, no matter how near or far.

 

I have been going to a nursery where I get to play

but I have to share toys with others and get no say.

It is always noisy and busy until it is time to go home,

then I find it quiet and strange to be all alone.

 

I heard Mummy and Daddy talking about another Baby

And I hope to GOD that it is just a maybe!

The very thought of another feels like hell,

‘cause I like being the only one and treated so well!
