I have two self-help stories available exclusively on

Amazon, either on the Kindle or paperback,

and I do hope that you find them interesting, thought-

provoking, and, most of all, enjoyable: -

The Rock Philosophy

This simply written short story is aimed at those

Who seek to understand themselves, and through

understanding themselves comes a greater

understanding of life.

The Life of Jesus

(as witnessed by his brother)

Much has been written about Jesus, and no matter your view on religion or Christianity,

this person, whether he was as described in the bible or not, has singularly

shaped, to a greater or lesser extent, the lives we lead

today through his wisdom. There are many versions of

the story, but there is only one truth, and is it not

better to know the truth?

You are most welcome to visit my self-help youtube

channel Advantage Subliminal

And you will find an excellent read in this story by my son Colin, and it is here.

Together by John/Enlightened Souls/Wisdom/Knowledge/Serenity/Togetherness/Hope/Enlightenment

Together

Together we stand,

no matter life’s demand.

Bullies may come,

but we’ll not succumb.

There is a great truth within,

and once alight can never dim!

From a heart that’s free and true,

every loving breath has great value.

Overcoming Addiction To Social Media by John/Restoring Freedom/Good Mental Health/Independence

Overcoming Addiction To Social Media

I stare mesmerized at my screen,

a distraction to stop my boredom scream.

I must give more nourishment to my life and soul,

than watching others in their small screen role.

Today is the day I make the change and be free,

and an example for like-minded others to see!

Self-Love by John/Emotional Protection/Self-Worth/Self-Assurance/Self-Care/Self-Awareness

Self-Love

I find I give out love too much,

and never to myself as such!

My unselfish love, I now also give to me,

that I may heal, thrive and be free!

Pathfinder

In a world filled with misdirection,

the Pathfinder’s being is still

to all conflicting energies

allowing the true and best path forward

to present itself as the lost friend come home.

The Great Play by John/Life/Understanding/Awareness/Enlightenment/Appreciation

The Great Play

I lift a rock and see insects

as they perform their rituals

unique in their performance

in the great play of life.

I look in the ocean and see fish

as they perform their rituals

unique in their performance

in the great play of life.

I look in the sky and see birds

as they perform their rituals

unique in their performance

in the great play of life.

I look in the fields and see animals

as they perform their rituals

unique in their performance

in the great play of life.

I look at my neighbours

as they perform their rituals

unique in their performance

in the great play of life.

And yet it is only we, the human race

gifted with compassion and reason

who can make a difference

in the great play of life.
