 was as described in the bible or not, has singularly

 shaped, to a greater or lesser extent, the lives we lead

 today through his wisdom. There are many versions of

 the story, but there is only one truth, and is it not

 better to know the truth?

Connecting

 

I never feel the need to idly talk,

when I take my solo early morning walk.

The sun is rising, and life is refreshed,

making itself known with renewed zest.

A squirrel darts along the branch of a great tree,

it just knows joy for it is completely free.

The birds worry not about yesterday or tomorrow,

consequently, they have no thought for worry or sorrow.

They puff their chests and share their love in song,

how can we humans get things so terribly wrong?

Heaven could be each day expressing our joyful love for life,

and with no yesterday or tomorrow worries, causing strife.

If we consciously live in the present, knowing only NOW,

and to the great Mystery and Spirit of all, we humbly bow,

then life would then be transformed as we bond together,

in the knowledge that our loving legacy will last forever!

The Universe Speaks In Many Languages

One of my favourite TV series of all time is Babylon 5, and today's blog is about a speech (in the story) created by one of the main characters, GKar. Although it is from a scifi story, it is very much appropriate to all existence and I commend it to you along with thanks to the show's creator for the wonderful, inciteful show.

Here is the speech ( and when you see languages you don't recognise then replace them with our world's languages.:-

The Universe speaks in many languages, but only one voice. The language is not Narn, or Human, or Centauri, or Gaim or Minbari. It speaks in the language of hope; It speaks in the language of trust; It speaks in the language of strength, and the language of compassion. It is the language of the heart and the language of the soul. But always, it is the same voice. It is the voice of our ancestors, speaking through us, And the voice of our inheritors, waiting to be born. It is the small, still voice that says: We are one. No matter the blood; No matter the skin; No matter the world; No matter the star; We are one. No matter the pain; No matter the darkness; No matter the loss; No matter the fear; We are one. Here, gathered together in common cause. we agree to recognise this singular truth, and this singular rule: That we must be kind to one another, because each voice enriches us and ennobles us, and each voice lost diminishes us. We are the voice of the Universe, the soul of creation, the fire that will light the way to a better future. We are one.
