Deterring Unwanted Attention and Harassment

 

There are those predatory people who seek,

to take advantage of those who they deem weak.

It may be a look, word, touch or plain aggression,

then I am filled with uncertainty and tension.

The path of peace, harmony and privacy is what I choose,

and that their unwelcome attention and harassment I lose.

So, I now find within me, the inner power I need and desire,

that easily protects me without thunder and fire.

 Whether it is innocently walking down the street, working, exercising or anything, there are always those who think they have the right to usurp our right to decency and privacy.
