Trauma Bonding

 

My life seems filled,

with fake love and abuse.

And I question myself,

am I being obtuse?

Why am I living like this,

in constant emotional upheaval,

when I can break this cycle,

by having its removal.

I now have the inner strength, 

focus and determination,

to safely succeed with pleasure,

this relationship’s termination.
