Depersonalization-Derealization Disorder
My life is like a movie’s false reality,
imposing itself on my mentality.
What I see, what I think, what I feel.
all seems dreamlike and quite unreal.
I need an anchor to hold me firm and steady,
I feel it is time now, and I’m more than ready.
With a smile and purpose my life begins anew today,
I want to live it, feel it, love it, come what may!
