Major Depressive Disorder
With my soul in anguish chiding,
all hope seems to be in hiding.
I know I really need to finish this fight,
to overcome the dark and see the light.
Yet when I find that stillness within,
I know anything is possible and I will win.
In this stillness, I relish the great peace,
and then the discordant energies simply cease.
