Overcoming Despair by John/Inner Strength/Self-Confidence/Positivity/Good Mental Health/Awareness

Overcoming Despair

I feel as if I am drowning,

my face forever frowning.

My mind slips into despair,

and hope feels all too rare.

Each negative thought,

is so expensively bought,

costing my feel-good factor,

making me my own detractor.

Yet if I allow my emotions to settle,

I realise it is mainly me testing my ‘mettle’!

By breathing long, slowly, and deep,

I realise the road to peace isn’t so steep.

Then I find a sliver of my inner sunshine,

and I allow it to be strong, for it is MINE!

Negatives change to positives in my mind,

and it is now only positive change I find.

Automatically banishing those shadows and blues,

is for me the most welcome HEADLINE NEWS!

This subliminal meditation is here.

There is a selection of my art on canvas and other

mediums available in my

Bonanza Shop here.

I have two self-help stories available exclusively on
Amazon, either on the Kindle or paperback, and I do
hope that you find them interesting, thought-
provoking, and, most of all, enjoyable: -

This simply written short story is aimed at those who
seek to understand themselves, and through
 understanding themselves comes a greater
 understanding of life.

(as witnessed by his brother)
Much has been written about Jesus, and no matter your
view on religion or Christianity, this person, whether he
was as described in the bible or not, has singularly
shaped, to a greater or lesser extent, the lives we lead
today through his wisdom. There are many versions of
the story, but there is only one truth, and is it not
 better to know the truth?

You are most welcome to visit my self-help youtube

And you will find an excellent read in this story by my son Colin, and it is here.
