Reflection of light

on a gentle river,

flowing onward.

A mixture of shadows

and sparkling light

from beginning to end.

Onward, onward, 

'til rivers end

and becomes life anew, again.

Joyfully joined with others

as they enter

the heavenly Ocean blue!

Moonshine

 

The bright moon casts its silvery glow,

creating illusive shadows, my imagination, I know.

Yet if I allowed imagination's fear machine to grip,

then I would be helpless at my courage slip.

I laugh out loud at this silly me,

then fear's hand slips and I am free.

Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)

 

Once a month I feel half dead,

and I often must retreat to my bed.

Unhealthy thoughts often invade my mind,

and the light of love is hard to find.

Oh, to feel better at this difficult time,

and be filled with glowing health that is mine.

I know this quest for this health starts from within,

When things seem to be falling apart,

shaking your head and wondering where to start.

And your heart feels heavy in disaster's vice like grip,

as all our positive thoughts into darkness slip.

You feel El Diablo is calling your name,

laughing with hearty relish as he enjoys your shame.

Just remember his nemesis, this most powerful magic spell,

introspective hearty laughter at one's self will dispel
