Autumn Leaves
Walking around my childhood haunts,
natural beauty in abundance it freely flaunts.
A squirrel darts along a branch on high,
as if its home is in the sky.
My children now walk the self-same trails,
beside nature's glory, mortality pales.
Its autumn and golden leaves are falling,
I can feel it now and winter is calling.

shaped, to a greater or lesser extent, the lives we lead
today through his wisdom. There are many versions of
the story, but there is only one truth, and is it not
better to know the truth?
