Scapegoating
Innocent and undeserving of another’s blame,
I ask will my life ever be the same?
Why
am I the scapegoat and made to suffer,
as
I am used as the perpetrator’s protective buffer?
Yet
it need not be so for I am now strong of heart,
I
can and will retake my life, my dignity for a start!
