The Actor

Here I am, an actor, on the stage of life, often filled with love, and occasional strife. Which ‘hat’ will I wear on the morrow, the one of joy or the one of sorrow? Whilst at work and appearing centre stage which part do I play, different from home, I’ll wage? It is true that there is many an act, with all different situations, requiring meaningful tact. And just like the show which is going live, there is no one to shout, TAKE FIVE! The action replays are in our mind, with hindsight, the correct attitude easy to find. But who selected us for this part? and did the selection happen before life’s start? Am I the Director responsible for detailed scenes, never knowing the plot or what it means? Stardom can be an insidious and multi-faceted seducer, and I’m just thankful that I have the greatest ‘Producer’! John
